Why An Autoimmune Diagnosis Is NOT The End Of Your Health: Part 1

Autoimmune Disease, inflammation, nutrition / Friday, February 23rd, 2018

A few months ago I wrote a post about autoimmune disease in Canada and shared a number of astounding statistics about the massive increase in the number of people who are being diagnosed with autoimmune (AI) disease. The medical community is showing increased concern that these numbers will continue to grow. This scares me. But what scares me even more is the fact that autoimmune diseases are preventable and even curable despite what we are told by the conventional medical community.

Why am I sharing this with you? First, because most people are told that an autoimmune disease is a life sentence with long-term effects that include a lower quality of life, increased emotional stress (due to poor health, financial pressures from the burden of managing AI disease, etc.) and a life full of dealing with the adverse side effects of drugs, to name just a few. Secondly, because a solution is available.

As a 30 year old female with autoimmune-like symptoms I fall into the category of patients that will (if I continue my current lifestyle) eventually be diagnosed with an AI disease, have a 30% chance of developing another AI disease in my lifetime and if I continue doing what my family doctor tells me to do (like take all the anti-inflammatory medications to manage my flare-ups & take other medications to manage the side effects of those drugs), I will end up with further health issues from short and long-term drug use. Fertility could become and issue, my mood and sleep will be affected and overall, I will most likely deal with a future full of struggle and frustration.

Maybe this is you today. Maybe this is you 5 or 10 years down the road. But this doesn’t have to be you! I don’t know about you, but I refuse to be another victim of this way of treatment. I refuse to believe that treating symptoms is enough. I refuse to believe that cure is not possible even in the face of a system that has long acknowledged that they don’t really know what to do with the AI disease ‘problem.’ I refuse to believe that finding root causes are not possible. I refuse to accept that my future is going to be filled with increased amount of pain, stress, and frustration.

My experience and education in nursing, homeopathy and nutrition has shown me that better quality of life, health and cure are within the reaches of those experiencing AI symptoms and disease. I will continue to fight and inform people that health is their right and it is possible!

Wherever you fall into the scheme of AI disease, whether it be you are in the search of diagnosis, you have been diagnosed recently or you have had long-term AI disease struggles, it doesn’t matter. I’m here to tell you that better health is possible for you and even cure is within your reach!

Over the next few weeks I will be sharing my experience and the things I have learned in the pursuit of cure and better health. I will talk about things that contribute to AI disease, what you can do to reduce your risk of developing an AI, eating for cure and a host of other important information that looks at AI disease from a completely new and life-changing perspective.
