- Stop being your own doctor. Let’s be honest here. How often do you look up your symptoms on google and decide what you have. Have you not researched ways to solve that problem, read a few blog posts and then decided on a course of action without any real understanding of what is actually going on or an accurate diagnosis? I mean, I don’t entirely blame you – we have all had bad experiences with our doctors or specialists and so sometimes the google search is helpful. But there is a time and a place when you need an accurate diagnosis to get the right treatment or you need someone to tell you WHEN the treatment you have chosen is appropriate. Not all treatments are equal NOR are they all appropriate or beneficial for your specific health issues.
- You believe that your health is as good as it can get or maybe you aren’t aware that you have a health issue that can be resolved. So many people struggle with health issues and think it’s normal. Or maybe you’ve been told that “You just need to live with it.” The thing is this – It’s NOT true. A lot of health issues can be resolved with the appropriate treatment and support and the ones that are more complex or chronic can often be reduce in severity of symptoms or even in the aggressiveness of the disease or by reducing how much medication is needed. Some of the more less complex issues that come to mind that people can find resolution for are: chronically feeling fatigued, insomnia, digestive issues, anxiety, brain fog, and issues concentrating.
- You need someone to tell you how to get from A to B. Maybe you have a health issue but you just don’t know what to do to get your health in a better place. Oftentimes, health conditions have become masked or complicated by drugs and ingrained in lifestyle habits.
